Professional Shop Refurbishment and Indoor Golf Facility Project

Several material improvements to the clubhouse and adjacent estate have taken place over the last 18 months. These improvements are part of the ongoing maintenance program put in place which will extend over at least the next 5 years.

The golf club's Professional's Shop was constructed some 35 years ago and forms part of this maintenance program. However due to the deteriorating material condition of the shop, at a greater rate than anticipated, the Board of Directors have agreed to invest in the extension and refurbishment of the Professional's Shop combined with the construction of an Indoor Golf Facility.

The Golf Club have employed Franklin Design Associates as the architect for this project and already significant progress has been made, producing several basic design concepts presented to the Board of Directors, Club Captain and Club Manager, with a final design now agreed.

The member surveys over recent years highlighted to the Board that many members support the construction of this facility and we have received numerous communications providing positive feedback and urging us to see this project through to completion.

Given the above The Board wish to invite all members to the Open Forum.

  • The Open Forum presentations will consist of two sections: -
  • Design Approach given by Franklin Design Associates

Indoor Golf Studio Equipment and Operation given by Paul Mitchell

Following the presentation all members will be given the opportunity to ask questions on this project.
