Visitors Information

Visitors are very welcome at Bristol & Clifton. Our championship course is available to visitors on weekdays and in the afternoon at weekends, subject to reservations for competitions, matches and other bookings. Our two bars and our catering facilities offer you a wide and excellent choice of food and drink in our newly refurbished clubhouse.

Buggies:

The club has a number of buggies for hire. It is best to contact the club in advance to book buggies. They are available at £16 a round for members and £26 for non-members.

The diary below indicates when the course has other commitments to help you in determining course availability. If you wish to play on a Tuesday or a Thursday then you can book and reserve your place directly on our tee booking system by clicking "Book a Tee Time" below.

Should you just wish to practice, for just £10.00 you can make use of our large practice area, chipping area and putting green.

Bookable Event: Club Captain's Dinner 8th November


Table Booking 

 

On Friday 8 November I will be holding my Captain’s Dinner for which the dress code will be Smart Casual. We will be meeting at 7.00 for 7.30.

I have arranged some fantastic entertainment for the evening but I'm not going to tell you what this is - you'll just have to come along to find out!

The cost of the evening will be £20.00 a head which includes a champagne reception and a three course meal.

 

MENU

Starters

A: Warm goats cheese and caramelised onion tart with dressed leaves.

B: Smoked salmon, creme fraiche, capers and leaf salad.

C: Chicken liver pate, toasted baguette, chutney.

Mains

D: Brie, mushroom and cranberry wellington, roast new potatoes, mixed vegetables. 

E: Roast sirloin of beef, boulanger potatoes, root vegetables, red wine sauce.

F: Fillet of ling (sustainable white fish from the cod family), herb mashed potato, kale, lemon cream sauce.

Desserts

G: Mulled berry cheesecake. 

H: Banoffee pie.

I: Selection of West Country cheeses, quince, crackers.

 

Tea/Coffee

 

Purchase tickets online by using the Blue "Table Booking" button at the top of this page. You'll be able to select a table to sit on and then purchase additional seats for guests and fellow members. You are required to pay for any places you reserve at the time of booking so please ensure you have adequate funds in your Clubhouse Account in order to fulfill your ticket requirements. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets via the Club Office (01275 393474).

Please note your selection of Starter, Main and Dessert using the letters alongside your chosen dish in the Notes section when you book your tickets (ie A, F, H). Tickets booked without selections being noted will receive the default menu Pate/Beef/Banoffee pie

You may change your menu selection by speaking to a member of staff at any time. As of Friday 4th November, you will no longer be able to make amendments to your menu selections.
