Visitor Information

Visitors are very welcome at Bristol & Clifton. Our championship course is available to visitors on weekdays and weekends, subject to reservations for competitions, matches and other bookings. Bookings can be made up to five days in advance of play.

Charges:

Online booking available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays up to five days in advance.

Buggies:

The club has a number of buggies for hire. Buggies can be reserved and paid for when making a tee booking. They are available at £20.00/round for members and £30.00/round for non-members.

Should you wish to practice, for just £10.00 you can make use of our large practice area, chipping area and putting green.

Ticketed Event: David Mann's Hole in One Challenge 18th May

Ticket Booking

To mark the opening of a new back tee on the 7th hole, David Mann has agreed to take on the 500-ball “Hole-in-one challenge”.

David has been a member of the club for over 30 years and, much to the amusement of his friends, he has never had a hole-in-one!!

You may well have seen on the European Tour website in the last 18 months, that 2 members of the tour have attempted, and failed, this challenge.  Click here to see their efforts.

These clips were shared between David’s friends and likened to his golfing career, and so without thinking he immediately accepted the chance to break his long overdue duck.

David is raising money for the ‘On Course Foundation Charity’ which, in essence, tries to help the injured servicemen and women of our amazing Armed Forces.

This charity rehabilitates individuals, either by playing golf, or by gaining employment in the golfing industry.

The hope is to have all 500 balls sponsored at £5 per ball. Assuming all the tickets are sold, there will be a prize of £500 for the shot that is closest to the pin (or hopefully in the hole!!), with the remainder going to the charity.

The 7th hole will remain open all day and there will be further chances to challenge David, either individually or as a group.  If you lose, the charity wins.  It is estimated that the challenge will take between 8 and 9 hours, so please come along and support David as he will need your encouragement and support.

If you would like to sponsor David £5 (1 ball), click the blue "Ticket Booking" button above then the green "Book Tickets" button and choose how many tickets (balls) you would like to purchase; for each ticket booked, £5.00 will be deducted from your Clubhouse Account. You'll need money on your account in order to debit from it; top up online or at the bar.

Once all the tickets have been sold, there will be a draw to allocate all 500 shots.  Unfortunately, you cannot just choose a ball from the first 100.

Update 10th May 2019: Due to demand” we are selling more tickets – up to another 500. Depending on how many more get sold, you may end up with a ball that has 2 owners but you will share 20% of the money raised between you if your ball is closest. If we sell another 500 tickets, each shot will have 2 owners and the prize will be £1,000 between them.
